- If your car is equipped with an original reversing camera, the CTX-3408 camera decoder is required to retain the camera and make it visible on the new car radio.
- For cars from model year 2014 onwards, an additional cable is required for the installation of this car radio: the MIB plug (CTX-3401). This plug is necessary to ensure compatibility with the original functions of the car. The MIB plug allows the new car radio to communicate correctly with the vehicle's modern systems, including steering wheel controls and other integrated features. Therefore, check at the time of purchase whether your car falls into this category and ensure you have the correct cable for a seamless installation.
- If you have a Volkswagen, Seat, or Skoda built before 2011, additional installation steps are required to prevent the car radio from draining your battery. In that case, we advise you to contact us.
- If your car has a CD changer, you will no longer be able to use it once the original radio is removed. It is therefore advisable to remove the CDs from the changer before removing the radio.
